Campbell is a city in Santa Clara County, California, located in the southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area. The city’s water supply is managed by the Santa Clara Valley Water District, which provides drinking water to the residents of Campbell and other nearby cities.
The Santa Clara Valley Water District sources its water for Campbell homeowners and businesses from multiple locations including groundwater, imported water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, recycled water and surface water from the Santa Cruz Mountains. The district also operates the Stevens Creek Reservoir, which serves as a water storage facility for the area.

Pipe Lining Service for Campbell, California
Leaking, cracked or blocked drain lines can be renewed with pipe lining technology. Pipelining, also known as pipe relining, is a technique used by plumbers and plumbing contractors to repair damaged or aging pipes without having to excavate and replace them.
Pipe lining in plumbing involves inserting a new pipe liner, typically made of epoxy resin, into the damaged or deteriorating water line or drain pipe. The new liner adheres to the inside of the old pipe and hardens, creating a new pipe within the old one that’s even stronger than the old pipe was when it was new.
The pipe lining technique can be used to repair water and drain pipes with a variety of issues, including cracks, leaks, corrosion and mineral buildup, and can be done without digging up the old pipes. Pipelining is often faster and less expensive than traditional pipe replacement methods, making it a popular choice for many plumbing repairs.
The Campbell Water Tower
The water tower is a familiar landmark in Campbell, underscoring the importance of water supply to the city’s history as an agricultural and food processing center, and now as a modern residential community in the heart of Silicon Valley. The Campbell Water Tower is a symbol of the city’s commitment to providing a safe, reliable water supply to its homeowners, property managers and businesses.
130-foot tower that overlooks downtown Campbell is a historic landmark. The Campbell Water Tower originally contained a single small tank, which was later replaced by two wooden water tanks—one holding 20,000 gallons, and the other 40,000.
The Campbell Water Tower was damaged in the 1906 earthquake and also suffered damage from a 1911 flood. A 75,000-gallon steel tank made by the Pittsburg-Des Moines Steel Company was installed in 1928 and remains today, though is not used for water storage. The San Jose Water Company transferred ownership of the property on which the tower sits back to the city in 1994. Campbell turned it into a park named after the Hyde family.
Campbell Water Company
The Campbell Water Company was owned and operated by the Hyde family for 50 years before it merged with the San Jose Water Company in the 1970s. Established in 1892, the Campbell Water Company was the city’s first utility company, providing residents and farmers with fresh water for daily use and irrigation.
The Campbell Water Company became increasingly important in the city’s early development years. The Company also sold surplus water for irrigation to farms that plant fruit trees in the surrounding San Jose-Campbell-Los Gatos area. As many San Jose and Campbell residents recall, the Santa Clara Valley was a major fruit producer from the late 19th Century to the mid 20th Century. Campbell was known as “Orchard City” early in its history. Fruit produced in Campbell was distributed all over the world.
According to research by local historian Written Sarah JL Nguyen, Campbell was home to several fruit packing canneries during those early days. The George E. Hyde and Company, which owned Campbell Water Company, operated a cannery in a plant next to the Campbell Water Tower.Established in the San Francisco Bay Area, Drain&Water is based Santa Clara County and provides premier plumbing services to homeowners, HOAs, property management firms and commercial clients in Santa Clara County.
